Welcome to On Point Academics!

On Point Academics provides student tutoring services for 3rd through 12th grade level students in the Danville, Alamo and San Ramon Areas for a wide range of subjects, including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, social studies, history, math and science. Tutoring options include: private tutoring, group tutoring, or virtual tutoring services


On Point Academics will assist your student with academic content while instilling self-confidence to navigate their learning environment. Whether it’s one-on-one or small group tutoring services, your student is guaranteed to receive professionalism from a current teacher with over 7 years of Common Core experience, individualized instruction tailored to student need, timely communication, and flexibility.

Private Tutoring

One-on-one tutoring offered for 30 or 60 minute sessions. Subjects include: reading comprehension, writing, grammar, social studies, math and science.

Small group tutoring offered for 2 to 5 students for 60 minute sessions. Subjects include: reading comprehension, writing, grammar, social studies, math and science.

VirtualTutoring 

Virtual tutoring via Zoom or Google Meet are offered to accommodate distance learning, as both a safety measure or a personal preference (i.e. while out of town).

My daughter sincerely looks forward to her tutor time with Mrs. Caldwell, which I believe is the best endorsement there is. Amelia is patient, encouraging and professional. She goes beyond the academics to connect with my daughter, bringing out her best work. She is flexible, enthusiastic and an overall joy to work with for both parent and child. Amelia has been a great resource to our daughter.  She is patient, organized, and friendly.  Amelia is well prepared for each session by sending over work prior to the lesson, and provides feedback after each session.   She has worked with our 6th grade daughter both in person and virtually. Amelia made the transition to virtual teaching seamlessly.  She is able to engage the student online and keep them focused on learning.   We saw a noticeable improvement in our daughter's Math and Core classes following her work with Amelia.  I would recommend Amelia highly.  We feel very fortunate to work with her.
